What electromagnetic radiation does GoBe emit?
The level of electromagnetic radiation emitted by GoBe is very low and non-ionizing.
GoBe also uses electrical signals at specific frequencies to measure the impedance of the skin and tissues. The voltage amplitude is set so that the current does not exceed the permissible levels for prolonged exposure established by the international standard IEC 60601-1-1:2000.
How deeply does the current penetrate?
The effect of the current is localized to the area beneath the band’s electrodes and reaches a depth of no more than 4 cm.
Therefore, the current does not extend far enough into the body to affect internal organs, including the heart.
Is GoBe safe to wear?
Yes. GoBe does not have a deep effect on the body. The electrical current used by the device remains within permissible levels, and its effect is limited to the local area beneath the band’s electrodes.
