GoBe automatically tracks the calories your body absorbs - no manual food logging required. Instead of estimating what you eat, it uses your body’s physiological data to measure actual energy intake.
How It Works
GoBe uses HEALBE FLOW™ Technology and a bioelectrical impedance sensor to analyze the fluid exchange in your skin cells, which is directly linked to how your body processes glucose.
Here’s what happens:
When you eat, your body begins digesting the food and converting carbohydrates into glucose.
As glucose enters your bloodstream, your cells absorb it and release water.
GoBe measures these fluid shifts through the skin in real time, 24/7.
The FLOW™ algorithm uses this data to calculate how many calories your body has actually absorbed, based on the shape and timing of your unique glucose curves.
Why Absorption Timing Matters
GoBe doesn't register calories at the moment of eating, but when nutrients reach your bloodstream. Here's a general timeline:
15–30 minutes: The first nutrients may enter the blood.
3–4 hours: The bulk of the meal is typically absorbed.
9–10 hours (or more): Complex meals with fats and proteins can take much longer to digest.
Different foods digest at different rates, and multiple meals can overlap in the digestion process - GoBe accounts for this.
What About Energy From Internal Sources?
GoBe also tracks energy absorbed from your internal reserves. So during:
Fasting
Intense physical activity
Low-calorie diets
...you may still see energy intake, because your body is pulling from fat or glycogen stores.
