GoBe U: What Should I Do If I See a Service Error?

GoBe U, Service Error, SERVICE 01, SERVICE 02, SERVICE 03, SERVICE 04, SERVICE 05, SERVICE 06, red flashes, red light, Factory Reset, factory reset GoBe U, warehouse storage mode, communication controller error, firmware error

Written by Anastasia Z.

If your GoBe U displays a Service Error, the number of red flashes indicates the type of error.

In this mode:

  • the band displays a solid red backlight at 30% brightness;

  • short red flashes appear at 100% brightness;

  • the number of flashes corresponds to the error code.

Error Codes

01 - Memory error
02 - Functional firmware won’t launch
03 - Internal system error
04 - System bus error
05-06 - Communication controller error

If a Service Error occurs, you may need to perform a Factory Reset and put the band into warehouse storage mode to restore normal operation.

SERVICE 02

If you see 2 red flashes, a reset may not be required.

If GoBe U can connect to the HEALBE app, the app will automatically prompt you to install the firmware update. Try installing the update first.

If reinstalling the firmware doesn’t resolve the issue, follow the reset instructions below.

SERVICE 06

If you see 6 red flashes, perform a Factory Reset and put the band into warehouse storage mode using the instructions below.

Factory Reset and Warehouse Storage Mode

  1. Make sure the band is not connected to the charging unit.

  2. Perform a Factory Reset:

    • Turn off the band by pressing and holding the control button for 3 seconds. A purple light indicates that the band is shutting down.

    • To make sure the band is off, press the side button once. There should be no light indication.

    • Press and hold the control button again for 7 seconds, then release it.

    • A sequence of red, yellow, and green flashes indicates that the Factory Reset has been performed.

  3. After the reset, press and hold the button for more than 7 seconds until you see 2 orange flashes. The band will enter warehouse storage mode.

  4. To turn the band back on, connect it to the charging unit.

  5. Reconnect GoBe U to the HEALBE app, set a new PIN code, and complete the firmware update.

Important: resetting the device may delete data that has not yet been synchronized or finalized. If GoBe U can connect to the app, we recommend syncing it before performing the reset. Whenever possible, perform the reset in the morning to minimize data loss.

If the Service Error remains after completing these steps, please contact our Customer Care at gobe@healbe.com.
