Technically, GoBe U can be charged while you are wearing it. However, there are some important safety precautions to keep in mind.
Charging while wearing GoBe U
If you choose to charge GoBe U without removing it from your wrist, the band should only be charged from a portable power source that is not connected to a power outlet, such as a power bank.
Do not charge GoBe U while wearing it using a wall adapter, laptop, or any other device connected to a power outlet.
For your safety, however, we recommend removing GoBe U from your wrist during any charging, including when using a power bank. Any external power source can potentially malfunction, so the risk of overheating, burns, or other injury when charging the device while wearing it can never be completely eliminated.
Charging precautions
To reduce potential risks when charging your GoBe U:
Make sure the band and charging cable contacts are clean and dry before charging.
Do not allow the charging cable to come into contact with metal objects, such as paper clips or keys. This may cause a short circuit, overheating of the cable, or damage to the power source.
Connect the charging cable to GoBe U first and only then connect it to the power source. This helps prevent accidental contact between active charging pins and metal objects.
Once charging is complete, disconnect the cable from the power source.
