In general, any disease affecting metabolic processes in the body may affect the accuracy of the device.
Do you take any medication to compensate for the lack of hormones? If your TSH levels are in the normal range when you take medication, we can offer you to calibrate your device. Users for whom the accuracy of GoBe’s calorie intake measurement is lower than 80% are welcome to participate in our Personalization project.
The project is free and it allows us to customize the firmware of your GoBe2 so that it provides more accurate results. To participate, you will need to wear the band for 7 days and log your weight and intake daily. After getting the data both from your GoBe2 and from the manual log we will be able to fine-tune the calculation algorithm.
If you don't take any medication or the compensation is partial, we can try calibrating your device, however, there may still be certain degree of inaccuracy.
