GoBe2: Charging indicator remains red and never turns blue

GoBe2, doesn't charge, no blue indicator

Written by Maria

The device is possibly not charging due to clogged dirt on the band contacts or on the pins of the charging dock.

So first, please check the band contacts. If you find dirt or black dots on the band contacts, please try cleaning them.

For cleaning, you will need table vinegar with a concentration of no more than 10% and a cotton swab.

  1. Dip a cotton swab into a small amount of vinegar

  2. Soak the contacts in vinegar and leave them like that for 10 minutes, ensuring that the vinegar doesn't dry out

  3. Rinse the contacts under running water while still rubbing the contacts with a cotton swab

  4. Rinse the contacts again under running water without using the cotton swab this time

  5. Dry the band with a tissue and remove moisture from the charging contacts by using a dry cotton swab

After, please run the mobile application and try to establish a connection with the smart band. If connection is established, please go to the "Service Information" menu and reset GoBe.

Keep in mind that GoBe button recognizes three types of a button press - short, medium and long. Normally, pressing the button does not require much effort. When it is triggered a slight click is felt. Then you need to hold the button for one, three or five seconds respectively. You do not need to increase the force of pressing as overdoing it may damage the button.
