GoBe2: My heart rate is wrong

GoBe2, pulse is incorrect

Written by Maria

GoBe2 uses a Piezo Sensor that detects pressure changes in your blood vessel walls during the movement of blood. This method accurately determines your heart rate at rest. Your resting heart rate is a very important factor that can indicate your overall cardiovascular health. The accuracy of pulse measurements while exercising may decrease if your hands are not active enough during a workout (treadmill, cycle, elliptical, and many weight training workouts).

The difference between your real heart rate and GoBe2 measurements during jogging should not be larger than 10-15 beats per minute or about 10%. The difference during cycling might be higher (up to 20-40 beats per minute, or 15-20%). We are working hard in order to improve accuracy and hope to get more precise results soon! Improved technology will be utilized in one of the next GoBe2 software releases.
